Luis is an exceptional project manager! He is nice, efficient, trustworthy, knowledgeable and listens to your ideas and concerns. He and his experienced team refinished our very old wood floor built in 1961 beautifully. They provided a good quality of work. We were in correspondences throughout the process to be sure that my husband and I were pleased with the final outcome and we were so happy with it.

Our floors look absolutely amazing! We bought a house with old, worn out carpet throughout the upstairs. The floor underneath was almost black. I didn’t think it could be saved. But 1 DAY Hardwood Floor Refinishing and restored them! They look amazing and I couldn’t be happier!

They also rebuilt our staircase. Before the stair treads were all slanting downward. It did not feel safe at all. They rebuilt it and now the stairs feel solid and safe! Great work!

We had hired 1Day Hardwood floor to do some floor refinishing work. We quoted with a few companies, their price was the most reasonable one. They are also very flexible on time which was a big plus. The quality of the job is also pretty good as far as I can tell.

I recently had 1 DAY Hardwood Floor Refinishing replace the carpet in my home with oak flooring, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The project was relatively a large one—about 2,200 sq. ft.—and since I chose unfinished wood to start with, it required several specialized teams to complete the job. From beginning to end, the experience was excellent.
Their project manager, Luis, was outstanding. He is incredibly knowledgeable and helped me in the process of selecting the right wood, colors, and finishes to achieve the look I envisioned. He came by daily to check on the progress, ensured everything met high-quality standards, and communicated clearly throughout. Luis is not only professional and passionate about his work but also kind and courteous and a good problem solver too—he truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly.
His entire crew was hardworking, friendly, and professional. They stayed on schedule and paid great attention to detail. I’m absolutely thrilled with how the floors turned out.

I highly recommend, Luis communicate well and offers great knowledge and experience all things hardwood and laminate flooring. He was able to complete a job 1 day after quoting and the finish result exceeded expectations. This is definitely the guy to go with.

Luis and the entire team were phenomenal throughout the entire project! We had original white oak floors refinished and had new white oak flooring put in to replace tile in our entryway and kitchen. I was concerned when the team pulled up the tile to reveal several inches of leveling concrete covering a roughly 50sq ft section, but Luis assured me they could remove it while staying on time and in budget, both of which were the case.

The team moved quickly and efficiently to get the entire project done in three days and they didn’t cut corners. Luis worked with us get transition pieces for the doors and made sure all floorboards and trim were put back or new put down (also in budget).

I can’t say enough how impressed I was throughout the entire process. The communication was great. The price was great. And the team was professional. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to have old floors refinished or new hardwood installed.

Bought a new house in Gahanna and wanted to replace carpet with flooring. My realtor recommended Luis, whom I hired to place engineered hardwood floor and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. This team is professional, hardworking, clean, and very considerate. Above all, they charge a very fair price and they actually went out of their way to very generously help me with a specific situation I had with my baseboards. 10/10 recommend and I know I will hire 1 Day Refinishing again!!

The team was very helpful in helping us pick the right stain and finish as our floors are maple, not the usual oak, meaning the grain is different and takes stain differently. Luis and his team were incredible. They were knowledgeable, provided a competitive price, were responsive and got us on their schedule quickly. They provided us with multiple sample options, were patient as we made a decision, and brought a good sized crew to get the job done really quickly (but still did a beautifully executed job). There were a few small areas my husband asked for them to fix and they did it promptly and without complaint. The floors we had before looked orange and dated, now they’re a warm and rich classic color. What a difference! It looks like we have brand new floors in our house now! Luis, Santiago and the rest of the guys were exceptional! I bought a new house only to discover the wood floors were a MESS under the carpet. I needed to remove the carpet and redo the floors asap. This was a big project and after exploring the market we are so thankful that we found Louis and his team. Louis was Amazing to work with. He is not only very professional but a great person to work with. He has great craftsmanship. They were on time, had great equipment we hardly had any sand. He guided us regarding stains. Not only that our landing on the stairs wood was a mismatch and he got new wood installed and sanded to match the rest of the house. He gave us the best price and we used the water based environmentally safe products.

The One Day Refinishing crew did a tremendous job repairing an area of hardwood floor that had been damaged decades ago and covered with carpeting. The damaged oak floor was beautifully repaired. One Day Refinishing then sanded and stained the rooms with the repaired flooring to match the hardwood in the rest of the house.

I cannot be more pleased with 1Day Hardwood Refinishing Company! I initially had them adding hardwood to my dining room to flow into my living space and refinishing the already wood floors in the living space along with my hallway! They did such a good job with that project I had them refinish the rest of my house wood flooring! Louis, was customer service all they way and his team were polite and worked very hard to get the job done so we weren’t put out of our house for long! I was very pleased with the outcome of my 126 year old pine floors. The crew was polite, timely and worked late to get the job done on time. Very reasonably priced.

Will not use or recommend this company. They continuously park in my driveway instead of the house they are working on. Then they repeatedly blocked my driveway as seen in the attached photo. Next time your vehicle is getting towed and I'm pressing charges for trespassing
